BOTTLED BEAUTY

fina.gif

Pearls of disdain trickled through her eyes,
Mourning the vices that her physique suffice,
Pain and detest is what she housed within,
Dejected to be someone different from her kin.

Words floating and torturous jibes have forced her to,
Think twice of what she stands for and is to ensue,
Scars on her skin and marks on her body have led to fade,
The notion of bottled beauty,
With which she was made.

Her peace, her appeal have been rendered stranded,
Questioning her soul, her intentions fragmented,
Children of the almighty have, in reality, come to be,
Splinter the courage, the voice, the presence of she.

The way her steps trail the paths of her future,
Has become the sole way to judge, to criticize, to define her.
The light of her presence, the twinkle of her eyes have been led to fade,
As the lost notion of bottled beauty,
With which she was made.

But bide my compeer, is this what we intend?
To make her demeanour hide her virtues, lead her broken impend?
The scars on her body let not become the scars of her whole,
Must rather drench her with beauty, enlighten her soul.

Let not, O! Let not the pearls through her eyes be wasted,
Precious they are and let her aura be lifted,
Because she must know of the charisma, the purity of her aid,
Symbolises the bottled beauty,
With which she was made.
